Cooma defeated Bombala 13-6 in a scrappy opening game of the Group 16 season at Cooma Showground on ANZAC Day.
The score was nil-all at the break after countless errors in the first 40 minutes.
Last year’s grand finalist Eden easily accounted for Bega 44-12 after leading 17-6 at half time.

Merimbula Pambula were too good for Narooma 30-16 and Tathra hung on against a fast-finishing Sharkies at Moruya 24-22.
