Eurobodalla Shire Council has moved quickly to hire a interim new general manager following the sudden departure of Warwick Winn a few weeks ago.
The council has revealed they selected experienced local government leader Mark Ferguson in the secret part of the March Council Meeting eight days ago.
A contract was only signed though yesterday.

Mr Ferguson has worked at numerous councils over his career including Coffs Harbour, Pittwater and Northern Beaches. His most recent job was as a temporary adviser at Edward River Council, a role he was appointed to by the Local Government Minister.
He’ll start in the role this Monday.
