A Far South Coast student’s idea to provide more career pathways for local young girls has landed her a meeting with the Deputy Premier and Education Minister in Sydney today.
Ayla Junor attends Narooma High, where she is in Year 10, and wants to ask Prue Car if gaining a trade qualification could be promoted as an option more loudly to female students across the state.
Ayla is a member of the Minister’s Student Council, which represents a diverse range of communities across NSW.

The council meets twice a term to openly discuss issues to be raised with the Minister and further contribute to positive change and outcomes.
