Police have launched an investigation into the death of a man north of Batemans Bay late yesterday.
He was pulled from the surf at Gammnet Beach at Bawley Point late yesterday.
His rescuers reportedly performed CPR on the 54-year-old but he didn’t make it.

Police said they believe the man is from the ACT.
