A man has died while fishing at Eden this afternoon.
Emergency services were called around 3pm to City Rock Road, Green Cape following reports of a person in the water.
On arrival, police were told a man was seen fishing before being washed off rocks.

A short time later, a body was located in the water.
The body is yet to be identified
A report will be prepared for the Coroner.
It is one of three deaths to occur in the state today because of the huge swell along the coastline.
