A quick response by police in Bega has resulted in the arrest of a man over an alleged carjacking in the town.
The 36-year-old allegedly pinched a screwdriver from a shop on Carp Street before pulling it on a young woman in a pizza delivery car nearby.
Police claim he forced the 18-year-old victim out of the vehicle and drove off before dumping it at Brogo.

He was apprehended nearby and charged with a stack of offences including assault with intent to take / drive a motor vehicle and never license person drive vehicle on road.
