Disused Batemans Bay motel fires suspicious

Authorities are treating several fires at a former Far South Coast motel as suspicious.

The blazes were ignited around 5:30 on Monday morning at the site along Beach Road in Batemans Bay.

Forensic officers have been combing the scene for clues as they investigate the exact cause and gather evidence.

Police are asking anyone with information about the cause of the fires to call Crimestoppers on 1800 333 000.
