The Bega Valley is one of the most most popular places in the state when it comes to people moving from elsewhere in NSW.
New research released by the Regional Australia Institute shows the LGA recorded a 173 percent increase in the number of new residents last year compared to 2023.
The result sees the Bega Valley the third most popular location for internal migration in the state behind Wingecarribee and Richmond Valley.
