A new bulk billing Urgent Care Clinic will be set up in Bega while the operating hours of the existing one at Batemans Bay will be extended.
That’s the pledge from Labor if they are re-elected to office at the upcoming Federal Election.
The clinic in the Bay was opened in December 2023 and has treated over 12,500 patients, averaging almost 30 a day.

By the end of 2025, the facility will run for up to 18 hours a day if the ALP is still in office.
