Police are searching for a man who escaped from a minimum-security correctional facility on the South Coast this morning (Wednesday January 29).
David Johnson, 44, was last seen on The Links Road at South Nowra around 7:45am. He is described as Caucasian, approximately 165cm tall, with a medium build, brown hair, blue eyes, and a goatee-style beard.
Initially reported wearing a dark green t-shirt and shorts with no shoes, Johnson is now believed to be wearing a black bomber jacket, a hi-vis top, and black track pants.
Authorities warn the public not to approach him and to call Triple Zero (000) immediately with any information.
PolAir is currently over South Nowra area searching for the man missing from the minimum-security correctional facility.
