South Coast to welcome back our gold medallist

A welcome home event for paralympic gold medallist, Nikki Ayers, is happening on the South Coast this Friday (September 20).

The Aussies brought home 60 medals at this year’s Paralympic Games including just 18 gold with one of those coming back to the Far South Coast.

Ayers won gold for Australia, after finishing first ahead of Great Britain and Germany in the PR3 Mixed Double Sculls with rowing partner Jed Altschwager in Paris in early September.

The Dalmeny local will be celebrated from 6pm on Friday (September 20) at the Breakwall Brewery in Narooma.
