A woman has been taken to South East Regional Hospital in Bega in a stable condition after a truck and car crashed at the intersection of the Princes Highway and Candelo-Wolumla Road in Wolumla.
Emergency services were called to the scene just after 8:40am on Monday (May 1), following reports a truck and a car collided.
The driver of the car, the woman in her 30’s was trapped before being freed by emergency services.
She was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics before being taken to South East Regional Hospital in a stable condition.
The truck driver was not injured, he was breath tested at the scene, returning a negative result.
The crash held up traffic for several hours with detours in place at the time.
Officers attached to South Coast Police District are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
